Brian Taitz: Managing Director [CA, CA(SA), MCom(Tax), BCom (Hons), BCom] is responsible on a full time basis for the day-to-day operations. Brian's former role was as the Financial Controller with Mathews Capital Partners, a pre-eminent hedge fund manager based in Sydney. Brian also previously worked at Westpac Banking Corporation, Standard Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers in various key managerial and operational roles specialising in auditing, financial accounting and control, and taxation.
Brian has extensive experience with the administration of hedge funds, the valuation of equities and derivatives, and has a strong technical accounting background.
He is also the Founder and Chairman of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants
(SAICA) Australian Chapter [www.saica.org.au].
Geert Kruizinga: Head of Europe Office oversees the operations of Kingsway Taitz Fund Administration in The Netherlands. Geert has over 17 years experience in the hedge fund industry. He previously worked for the Citco Group in Curaçao and Amsterdam as an accountant and senior account manager in the Mutual Fund Administration Department for over 12 years.
Geert has significant experience with hedge funds, strong business and accounting skills and previously worked on George Soros' Quantum Funds.
John Kelly : Head of USA Office [CA (ICAEW), CFA, BSc (Chem)] oversees the operations of Kingsway Taitz Fund Administration in The USA. John previously worked for Deloitte & Touche in both England and Bermuda, and Hemisphere Management Limited.
In 1997, he departed Hemisphere to establish Prime Management Limited in Bermuda. At Prime, he held the position of Director and was responsible for all aspects of the business. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors of several hedge funds for which Prime acted as administrator.
